User Management
The User Management page under System Settings provides administrators with a centralized dashboard for managing all system users. User accounts are synchronized from Active Directory through the Employee Directory and can also be created manually. Administrators can search, filter, create, edit, activate, deactivate, assign business roles, generate passwords, export user data, and delete accounts from a single interface.
Access User Management
- Navigate to System Settings.
- Select User Management.
The page synchronizes user records from Active Directory and displays the user list along with summary badges.
User Dashboard
The dashboard displays summary badge-
- Total Users
These badges always reflect the current user list in real time.
User List
The User Management table displays all system users.
Typical information includes:
- User ID
- Name
- Role
- Status
- Actions
The table supports pagination for large user lists.
Search Users
Use the search bar to locate users.
You can search by:
- Name
The table updates dynamically while typing.
If no users match the search criteria, “No users found.” is displayed.
Sort and Filter
Administrators can:
- Sort any column
- Apply column-level filters
- Filter user records
- Reorder data as required
The user list updates immediately after filters or sorting are applied.
View User Details
Click anywhere on a user row to open the User Details panel.
The panel displays information such as:

Selecting another user refreshes the details panel automatically.
Create a New User
To add a new user:
- Open User Management.
- Click New.
- Enter the required user information.
- Click Save User.
The New User page opens with:
- Status set to Active
Required fields are validated before saving.
Required Information
When creating a user, provide:
- User ID
- Created At
- Updated At
- Linked Employee ID
- Username
- Status
- First Name
- Middle Name
- Last Name
- Gender
- Phone No.
- Business Role
- Time Zone
- Time Format
- Date Format
- Default Navigation

After successful validation:
- A User ID is generated automatically.
- The user is added to the User Management list.
- A success message is displayed.
Edit a User
To update user information:
- Locate the required user.
- Open the Edit User page.
- Modify the required fields.
- Save the changes.
The updated information is immediately reflected in the user list.
Activate or Deactivate a User
Administrators can change a user’s account status by:
- Using the row-level status toggle, or
- Selecting Activate/Deactivate from the User Details panel.
The status changes instantly and the summary badges update automatically.
Bulk User Actions
Multiple users can be selected using row checkboxes.
Available bulk actions include:
- Bulk Activate
- Bulk Deactivate
- Delete Users
- Generate Passwords
If no users are selected, the system displays an error and no action is performed.
Export Users
The filtered or complete user list can be exported to CSV for reporting or auditing purposes.
Refresh Active Directory Sync
Administrators can refresh the synchronization with Active Directory to retrieve the latest employee records.
If synchronization returns no records, the table displays “No users found.”
Delete User
Administrators can delete user accounts from the User Management page.
Deleted users are removed from the user list after confirmation.
User Properties
Each user record contains the following information:
- User ID
- Reference Employee ID (Those who sync from Employee Directory)
- Name
- Status
- Business Role
- Email Address
These properties uniquely identify the user and maintain account information within the system.
