Phone
The Schedule Call module is where every phone call activity gets planned and tracked in GEMS CRM — whether it’s a follow-up with a lead, a scheduled demo, or a routine check-in with an account. It keeps every call linked to the right record, with built-in overlap checking so you don’t accidentally double-book yourself.
Schedule Call List View
A consolidated view of every scheduled call across the CRM.
What You’ll See
- All Calls Dropdown – switch between saved views
- Search Bar – find a call quickly
- Calls Grid – every scheduled call with its timing and status
- Pagination – with an adjustable items-per-page selector
Grid Columns
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Subject | The call’s title or purpose |
| Channel | The channel the call is associated with |
| Phone Number | The number being called |
| Date & Time | When the call is scheduled |
| Status | The call’s current state (e.g., Scheduled, Completed) |
Each row includes View, Edit, and Delete actions.
Toolbar Actions
- Schedule Call (+) – opens the New Call creation form
- Filter, Refresh, Settings
Good to Know
- Calls support bulk selection for batch actions
- Whenever a call is created or edited, the system checks for timing overlaps against your existing schedule and flags any conflicts before saving
- Delete is subject to your permission level
Call Detail View
Opening a call gives you its full context in one place, in a read-only view by default — switch into Edit mode to make changes.
What You’ll See
- Call Information – Related Object, Call To, Call Type, Status, Channel, Assign To, and Call Time
- Call Objective – the purpose of the call (e.g., Lead Follow-up, Opportunity, Demo, Presentation)
- Call Outline – a free-text description of what the call covers
- Reminder Settings – when you’ll be notified before the call starts
- Call Outcome and Call Description – captured once the call has taken place
Additional Actions
From the More Menu, you can:
- Reschedule Call – move the call to a new date/time
- Change Timing – adjust the call’s duration or time slot
Good to Know
- Rescheduling or changing timing triggers the same overlap validation used at creation — if the new time conflicts with another call, you’ll see a warning before it’s saved
