Territory Management
Territory Management defines how your sales and service coverage is structured geographically and organizationally — territories, their hierarchy, and which model version is currently governing assignment across the business.
Territory Hierarchy
What You’ll See
- Active Territory Model Summary – Model Name, Version, Status, Effective From/To dates, Business Unit, and Territory Count, always fixed at the top of the page
- Navigation Tabs – switch between Territory Hierarchy and Territory Model
- Filters – Region, Segment, Status, and a View Type Toggle to switch between Table View and Tree View
Tree View
Visualizes the full territory structure as a hierarchy — starting from a Global Root, branching into Regional Nodes, and down to individual Territory Nodes, each showing its status and territory count. You can expand or collapse nodes to navigate the structure, and click through to view any territory’s full details.
Table View
A flat, sortable list of every territory, with the following columns:

| Territory Code / Name | The territory’s identifier and display name |
| Type | The territory’s classification |
| Parent Territory | Where it sits in the hierarchy |
| Region / Segment | Geographic and business segmentation |
| Owner / Manager | Who’s responsible for it |
| Active Indicator / Status | Whether the territory is currently active |
| Effective From / To | The territory’s validity window |
Each row includes View, Edit, and Delete actions.
Toolbar Actions
- Upload CSV – bulk-import territories
- Create Territory – opens the territory creation form
Good to Know
- The active territory model loads automatically when you open this page — you’re always looking at the currently governing model unless you navigate elsewhere
- Territories are grouped by their hierarchy relationships, so parent-child structure stays visible whether you’re in Table or Tree view
Creating a Territory
Clicking Create Territory opens a modal form where you define:
- Territory Code and Territory Name
- Type – the territory’s classification
- Parent Territory – where this new territory sits in the hierarchy
- Region and Segment
- Effective From and Effective To – the validity period
Saving
- Create Territory – saves the form and adds the new territory to the hierarchy
- Cancel – closes the popup without saving anything
